The students and staff of OLHC will be participating in an Ash Wednesday liturgy at 10:30am on February 22, as we mark the start of the Lenten Season. Throughout Lent, we will be focusing on the three pillars of fasting, prayer and almsgiving through a variety of classroom and school based activities. Lent is a time of simplifying oneself and preparing for Easter. It is a time of prayer and reaching out to others and reflecting on what is truly important in our lives.
Dear God,
As we continue the season of Lent, grant us perseverance in our journey of fasting, almsgiving and prayer. Please renew our commitment towards a life full of Christ. May this season bring us the blessing of Your forgiveness and the gift of your light. Amen.
