As a school community, we are committed to ensuring a healthy and safe learning environment for all our students. Our Lady Help of Christians CES will continue to be an “Allergy Safe” school. To this end, we remind all parents/guardians that nuts, nut-products or nut by-products are not allowed at school.
We ask that parents/guardians carefully screen all snacks and lunch items to ensure that these items are not sent to school. Additionally, information will be sent home to specific classes where other allergens such as sesame seeds, egg, shellfish, tuna, kiwi, etc. cannot be brought to school to ensure student safety. As a reminder, students are not permitted to share food items with peers, and only non edible items will be permitted to be shared at school for celebrations (ex. Valentine’s, Halloween, birthdays).
