A reminder for OLHC families to kindly review this important information about attendance reporting for the upcoming school year 2024-2025.
Before 8:30 a.m. parents/guardians are required to report student absences, late arrivals or early leaves using one of these three methods:
• Toll Free SchoolMessenger Phone Number 1-855-856-7862
• The SchoolMessenger website: http://go.schoolmessenger.ca
• The SchoolMessenger App (blue icon) from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.

A reminder to all families that any absences/late arrivals/early leaves that are not reported in the Safe Arrival system, will result in a ‘call out’ from the school (via telephone or email using our automated system). Attendance procedures are time bound to ensure student safety, so if a student absence is not reported and school staff are unable to verify the whereabouts of a child, York Regional Police may be contacted to assist in locating the child. Kindly ensure you report all absences/late arrivals/early dismissals in the Safe Arrival system to help us ensure student safety.
